I used to buy cardamom pods at a health food store, and jeez, I forgot what I did with them. Crush them or make tea, I don’t know. I remember the flavor! And there are a myriad of health benefits.
I saw a cardamom lemon frosting in a recipe. Also cardamom coffee, which is appealing, because I hate…well…sort of dislike chicory coffee and can’t live without french roast. But chicory coffeee is wicked healthy, I could drink it in the afternoon but nothing replaces my morning coffee, only french roast.

I’ve pulled roots before of the chicory plants to made it. Very time consuming and laborious, you pull the plants, don’t strain your neck or bust a spine ring, if they rip out easy upwards, the whole chicory plant, go with it. Avoid the plants that don’t allow you to pick them, I am sure there is a reason. Talk to the plant. Maybe plants have feelings too. Some literally just pull up easy, some feel like there is …
